Draw It — build a part with exact dimensions
Place shapes on the canvas, then type exact W/H and position in the properties panel (inch or mm). Add holes, slots, gears, and bolt circles, group it all, and send straight to Cut. No need to set material thickness — that's handled in Cut. Every part comes out plasma-ready.
✓ Mounting plates with bolt holes ✓ Brackets — flat, angle, or custom profile ✓ Gussets and corner plates ✓ Wall hangers and flanges ✓ Slotted adjustment plates ✓ Decorative gears and mechanical shapes ✗ Signs or nameplates — use Draw It ✗ Wall art or silhouettes — use Trace It

Drawing Tools
V
Select — click any object to select it. Drag to move. Use corner handles to resize and scale. Hold Shift to select multiple. Alt+click to select objects underneath.
R
Rectangle — click to place a 4×3" rectangle. Type exact W/H in the properties panel. Nodes appear on corners and edge midpoints automatically.
C
Circle / Hole — click to place a 3/8" circle. Minimum 0.375" diameter for plasma. Type exact size in properties.
S
Slot — click to place a 2×0.5" slot with fully rounded ends. Resize in properties.
L

Edit Tools — Break · Trim · Group
B
Break ⚡ — click near where two paths intersect. Splits every path that crosses at that point, creating clean endpoints. If no intersection is nearby, splits the nearest path at the clicked point. Always Break before you Trim.
T
Trim ⌁ — after Breaking, hover over any segment between two break points. It highlights red. Click to remove just that segment. Use this to clean up lines inside shapes or arcs inside rectangles.
G
Group ▣ — select 2+ objects then press G to combine into one. Press G again on a group to ungroup.
Del
Delete — removes the selected object entirely. Click a yellow diamond to delete a single segment instead.
TIP
Break, Trim, and Join are point-and-click — no pre-selection needed. The order matters: Break first to create intersection splits, then Trim to remove unwanted segments, then Join to close any gaps.

Walkthrough 1 — Line Through a Circle (Break & Trim)
01Press R to place a rectangle. Press C to place a circle overlapping one edge of the rectangle.
02Press B (Break) — click near where the circle crosses the rectangle edge. Both paths split at that intersection point.
03Press B again — click the second intersection point where the circle crosses the rectangle on the other side. Both split again.
04Press T (Trim) — hover over the rectangle edge segment that runs through the circle interior. It highlights red. Click to remove it.
05Press T again — hover over the circle arc that sits inside the rectangle. Click to remove it. You now have a clean bump-out shape.
06Press G (Group) to combine finished shapes into one object. Then Clean Up for Plasma and Send to Cut →.
Walkthrough 2 — Custom Mounting Plate (Draw from Scratch)
01Press R — place a rectangle. Type your exact plate dimensions in the properties panel (e.g. 8" × 6").
02Press C — click near each corner to place mounting holes. Type 0.375 in Width. SNAP keeps them aligned to the grid.
03Press B (Break) — click each point where a hole circle crosses the plate edge. Repeat for all four holes. Each intersection splits both the circle and the rectangle edge.
04Press T (Trim) — hover over each plate edge segment that runs through a hole circle. Click to remove. The holes are now open cutouts in the plate.
05Press S — place an adjustment slot in the center. Resize in properties (e.g. 2" × 0.375").
06Click Clean Up for Plasma, then Send to Cut →.

02Press R — place a nameplate rectangle overlapping the bottom of the dog trace by about 0.5".
03Press B (Break) — click each point where the dog outline crosses the top edge of the nameplate. Both paths split at each crossing.
04Press T (Trim) — remove the dog outline segments that fall inside the nameplate. Remove the nameplate edge segments that fall inside the dog outline.
05Press G (Group) — select your finished shapes and group them into one object for easy placement and export.
06Pick a font, press E, click inside the nameplate to place text. Press C for mounting holes (0.375" min).
